About the Role
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal, Business Manager and Office Manager. This role has a focus on enrolments. You will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine.
About You
Highly desirable skills and experience, while not mandatory, are preferred:
- Experience with OneSchool and other DoE platforms preferred
- Proven ability to work independently and harmoniously within a team environment to achieve quality outcomes
- Excellent organisational, communication, multi-tasking and time management skills
- Ability to be flexible and adaptive
- Proficient in Microsoft applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher
Your Responsibilities
As the Administration Officer (AAEP), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), student services, first aid, administering medication, correspondence, enrolments, data entry tasks, maintaining school records, processing of mail and emails
- Run the day to day operations of enrolments and assist in in the development or maintenance of enrolment policies
- High level of professionalism and customer service whilst communication with internal and external stakeholders; providing information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal directives; and demonstrating empathy, emotional understanding and support
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
- Executive support consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate
