Job Title: SMT Machine Operator – Day Shift
Location: Wetherill Park, NSW
Salary: $75,000 + Super
Work Set-up: On-site | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 03:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled SMT Machine Operator to join our electronics manufacturing team. You will play a key role in operating and maintaining Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate SMT machines, including pick-and-place systems and reflow ovens
• Monitor production lines for consistent quality and performance
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of machinery
• Inspect PCB assemblies for accuracy and perform manual rework when necessary
• Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to meet daily output goals
• Maintain production documentation and adhere to safety procedures

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating SMT equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of surface mount assembly processes
• Experience using Juki or Yamaha Pick and Place Machine preferred
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and production instructions
• High attention to detail and quality standards
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• IPC certification is a plus but not required
