This is an exciting opportunity to join Sodexo as a Procurement Relationship Manager.
In this full-time, Brisbane-based role, you will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships and contracts to support the procurement needs of the business. The role is pivotal in ensuring Sodexo maintains a healthy, cost-effective supply chain to deliver high-quality services to its clients.
This role has a requirement to travel on the occasion to various sites within the Qld portfolio.
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and addressing any performance issues
Monitor supplier performance and ensure contracts are fulfilled to the expected standards
Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, boost efficiencies and drive cost savings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and source the right suppliers and products
Provide expert procurement advice and guidance to support strategic decision making
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform procurement strategies
Maintain comprehensive records and reporting on all procurement activities
What we're looking for
Significant experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, ideally within the manufacturing, transport or logistics sector
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills to secure favourable supplier contracts
Excellent relationship management capabilities to interface with a diverse range of stakeholders
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
Proficient in the use of procurement and contract management software
Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field is highly regarded
