The Role Reporting to the Group Procurement Manager, you’ll lead the end-to-end procurement function with accountability for supplier performance, stock management strategies, and continuity of supply across site operations. You’ll manage a team of three and partner closely with Operations, Commercial, QA, and NPD to deliver business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and stores operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Develop and execute stock management and purchasing strategies aligned to business objectives
• Drive supplier performance, risk mitigation, and alternative sourcing
• Partner with Operations, QA, NPD, Finance, and Maintenance to meet supply requirements
• Build strong supplier relationships, including performance reviews and onboarding new suppliers
• Foster a positive, values-led culture; lead, mentor, and develop your team

About You

• 3–5 years’ experience in a procurement leadership role (FMCG ideal)
• Strong systems knowledge — JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle Cloud, or Protrace
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, influence, and negotiation skills
• A proactive leader who brings energy, integrity, grit, humility, and teamwork
• Organised, commercially astute, and committed to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement
