We are seeking a professional, flexible, and friendly Casual Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role requires someone who can be available at short notice and is comfortable working in a busy, patient-focused environment. You will be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and administrative functions. This position is to cover both our Practices which are located in Ainslie and Manuka.

** Availability Requirements:

Mandatory Availability required Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm, and Saturdays, 8:00am – 12:30pm

Must be available to cover shifts at short notice, including sick leave and peak periods

🎯 Skills and Experience - About the role

Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and enquiries

Schedule and manage patient appointments using medical software

Process patient billing and Medicare claims

Maintain accurate patient records and data entry

Assist doctors and clinical staff with administrative support

Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion

Ensure the reception area is clean, organised, and presentable

Respond to urgent situations calmly and efficiently

This is a face 2 face in person role
