About the role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapists to join our growing team at Kids Therapy Club in Yarrabilba, QLD. Whether you are a recent graduate or have extensive experience, we have opportunities available across various levels from Graduate to Senior roles. In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children with a range of developmental needs, helping them reach their full potential.
What you'll be doing
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' strengths, needs, and functional abilities
Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address the specific goals and needs of each client
Collaborating with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care
Providing hands-on therapy interventions, such as fine motor skill development, sensory integration, and adaptive equipment training
Documenting client progress and maintaining detailed clinical records
Participating in team meetings and professional development activities to continuously improve clinical skills and knowledge
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Strong clinical skills in paediatric occupational therapy, with a passion for helping children reach their full potential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrated problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice
Knowledge of the NDIS
