Your new role:
This is an exciting opportunity for newly graduated Occupational Therapists to join the Allied Health Graduate Program within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Service. In this role, you will:
- Deliver entry-level Occupational Therapy services including assessment, intervention, education and discharge planning within a multidisciplinary team.
- Access high-level support through structured training, supervision, and professional development resources.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and interprofessional teams to provide safe, person-centred, and evidence-based care.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research activities, and the education of students and support staff under the guidance of senior clinicians.
About you:
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated graduates who are committed to developing their skills and making a difference in the lives of people accessing addiction and mental health services. You will demonstrate:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration (or eligibility for registration) with AHPRA.
- The ability to provide high-quality, patient-centred and evidence-based care in a mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of an interprofessional team.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
