Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Kedron – Multiple Positions

Kedron (Brisbane) | $95–130K+ incl. super | Unlimited CPD | Flexible Hours | Admin Support

Let’s skip straight to the important part:
We are looking for 2-3 OTs to join our cohesive and playful Kedron team to bring at least 3 years of experience in the paediatric private practice space. We're offering career pathways in a way that’s supportive, playful, and rewarding.

Hi, I’m Bec, co-founder and Managing Director of Progress Pathways. I'm proud of what our team has achieved over the past 3.5 years. Our small but mighty team of 13 therapists has built three thriving practices across Kedron, North Lakes, and Burleigh Heads.

We’re lifelong learners, dedicated to helping families achieve meaningful progress while working together to provide best-practice care. Now, we’re excited to welcome 2–3 experienced Occupational Therapists to our Kedron team.

Who We’re Looking For

This role will suit an Occupational Therapist who:

enjoys using movement in therapy (we have an exclusive partnership with Delta Gymnastics),

seeks to understand the underlying causes of a child’s symptoms and behaviours through quality assessment and a mindset of curious compassion, and

considers themselves a lifelong learner.

We welcome applications from:

Mid-career OTs – with at least 3 years of experience, ready to grow with strong support.

Parents returning to work – seeking a flexible, family-friendly role.

Senior OTs (7+ years) – ready to leverage your extensive paediatric experience to make an even greater impact, excited to take on new responsibilities.

Start Date Options

We welcome applicants wishing to start in 2025 (we will even offer a Christmas pay continuity bonus... we know moving at this time of year can be hard!) and will also welcome applicants for a 2026 start.

Why Join Progress Pathways?

Competitive salary – $95,000–$130,000+ pa (incl. super), based on experience and caseload preferences, plus a laptop and travel allowance.

Flexible work design – with options including a 4-day week, 9-day fortnight, or flexible hours. Work primarily from our well-equipped clinic, including our on-site gym spaces, with opportunities to visit local schools and kindies, or access the fantastic facilities at Delta Gymnastics.

Up to 5 weeks of annual leave – earn bonus leave from your first 6 months (100% of our team did last year).

Diverse caseload with autonomy – work with children aged 0–12 across a range of presentations and tailor your caseload to your strengths and interests. You have agency over your caseload.

Career progression – we promote from within, with opportunities for leadership, supervision, and clinical mastery.

Unlimited CPD – pursue the training that excites you, on us!

Strong clinical support – scheduled 1:1 and group supervision, multi-disciplinary team meetings, frequent check-ins, and access to a comprehensive resource library.

Support for life's challenges - we have partnered with Wisdom Wellbeing to offer our team (and their signficant other, and any children aged over 16 years) 24/7/365 access to professional counselling. We know that life happens, and we all need extra support sometimes.

Work-life balance – we keep work within work hours (including a strict “no laptops on the lunch table” rule) and continually refine our systems to make work sustainable, from integrating AI to adjusting session lengths.

Exclusive partnership with Delta Gymnastics – incorporate movement into therapy in a unique way.

Beautiful, welcoming clinics – spacious, well-resourced, and homely environments you’ll love working in.

Insurance coverage - we cover your Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance for you. One less bill for you to think about!

Our Story

Founded in 2022, Progress Pathways has always had two goals:

Give kids more opportunities to thrive.

Be the best workplace for allied health professionals.

We’ve grown into a collaborative, values-driven team. We’re always improving – refining session structures and integrating tools like AI to reduce admin load – so our team can focus on what matters most: delivering quality care.

About the Role

We’re looking for 2–3 Paediatric OTs to join our Kedron team, supporting children 12 years and under.

Your work will include:

understanding each family’s needs,

completing comprehensive assessments,

creating and delivering tailored therapy plans, and

building strong, trusting relationships with families.

You’ll have the autonomy to design your caseload and schedule, backed by unlimited CPD and future career opportunities as we continue to grow.

There is minimal travel required for this role, and you are welcome to stay onsite completely if you prefer.

What We’re Looking For

Registration – Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist, with eligibility to work in Queensland.

Communication & Collaboration – Proven ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Commitment to Growth – Evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.

Diversity & Inclusion – Experience working effectively with diverse clients and team members.

Additional requirements:

Experienced OTs – minimum 3 years of paediatric experience. Experience in private practice or supporting NDIS participants, including an understanding of NDIS report writing requirements, is highly valued.
