Clinical Lead - Clinical Psychologist
Location: Newcastle
Employment Type: Full-time (or part-time as negotiated)
Salary: $160,000 p.a. + super

A leading private pain management clinic in Newcastle is seeking a Clinical Lead (Clinical Psychologist) to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with senior-level leadership in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to psychologists, provisional psychologists, and students.
• Conduct psychological assessments, chronic pain assessments, and deliver individual and group therapy.
• Facilitate programs within the Pain Program and contribute to multidisciplinary case conferences.
• Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support professional development, team performance, and service-level KPIs.
• Engage in research, training, and program evaluation activities.

Who We're Looking For:

• AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist with Clinical Endorsement.
• Experience leading clinical teams and supervising psychologists.
• Proven experience in chronic pain, health psychology, rehabilitation, or related settings.
• SIRA NSW approval number and Medicare provider number highly desirable.
• Experience with third-party clients (DVA, NDIS, Workers Comp) is a plus.
