REFINERY PLANT OPERATOR

MSM Milling is Australia's leading family-owned integrated oilseed crushing, refining, packing and feed milling facility based in Manildra in the heart of the NSW canola growing region. We are currently undergoing major growth through expansion to new domestic and export markets and as such we are looking for a Plant Operator to join our Crushing and Refinery team.

The team consists of skilled and developing plant operators who work on a rotating day-night shift roster whose main responsibility is to ensure the processing of the seeds is undertaken efficiently to ensure the delivery of our high-quality oil is maintained. Complete on the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities include:

Operating and maintaining equipment associated with seed crushing and oil refining, including but not limited to pumps, heating systems, vacuum systems, centrifuge, control valves.

Operation of the automation software system at the Control Room

Monitoring the operation of plant equipment and systems to minimise downtime, solving equipment problems and identify opportunities for improvement

Gather and report refinery process parameters through regular checking of instruments and on-site laboratory testing.

Key skills & experience required:

Knowledge or experience in repairs operation and/or maintenance of mechanical processing equipment will be an advantage

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Comply with company health, safety and environmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Be computer literate and have experience of SCADA or demonstrate a willingness to learn.
