As we plan to expand our shift, we are now looking for additional get up and go team players who will always strive to get the job done, safely and within the required timeframes.

Role Overview:

The role will initially be on a 3 by 12hr day shift, though a number of alternate day and night shift positions will evolve.

Responsibility:

The Production Operator will work the day-to-day operation of Australia’s first Press Line to manufacture board products from everyday packaging waste.

This will include operating the Press Line, using forklifts for material handling, checking the quality control of the finished products, helping with plant maintenance and any other tasks required as part of the role.

Specific Duties:

Comply with all health and safety regulations and requirement

Receive and record delivered materials using load scales

Store feedstock materials in defined locations

General Warehouse and plant housekeeping

Keep front end of plant loaded for production of boards

Unload plant of finished boards, palletising and preparing for storage.

Performing quality checks

Completing batch documentation and shift paperwork

Operate a forklift

Prepare orders for shipment and loading trucks

Assist to enter data into inventory and logistics software programs as developed

Follow instruction from the Production Supervisor and other Management as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

Have a great attitude to work and life, be proactive, enthusiastic and keen for a team environment

Previous experience in manufacturing

Hold a current Forklift license (we will offer appropriate training to the right candidate)

Be able to work autonomously and independently

Ability to ensure that service's meet quality objectives

Able to operate basic plant technology

Strong communication skills - written and verbal

Reliability and a strong commitment to working

Shortlisted applicants will be required to:

Undergo a Federal Police clearance check

Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia

Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position

Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations

Renumeration:

Full time roles will range between A$25-$40 per hour incl all allowances, depending on shift work

There will be room to grow hourly rates for proven performances over time
