Property Development & Transactions Analyst
- Brisbane Head Office
- Significant Growth Pipeline
- Career Pathway
Our client is one of Australia’s leading private developers, owners and operators of retirement living communities, with a proud track record of creating thriving environments where people can live independently, feel connected and enjoy peace of mind about the future. With more than two decades of experience, they are recognised for their design excellence, innovation and commitment to delivering sustainable communities that set new benchmarks in the industry.
Headquartered in Brisbane, the business manages a substantial national portfolio and has a development pipeline exceeding 800 dwellings, with multiple projects under construction and many more in planning. Their developments are consistently award-winning, underpinned by strong partnerships with government, community organisations, and tier two and three contractors. Their model is unique — not only do they design, develop and build new communities, but they remain as long-term owners and operators, fostering strong resident engagement and ongoing value creation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Development & Acquisitions Officer, this role is positioned at the centre of strategic decision-making. You will play a vital part in preparing feasibility studies, Board submissions and due diligence reports, as well as delivering insightful competitor and market analysis to inform new acquisitions and developments. You’ll also contribute directly to Development Committee discussions and support endorsed projects from feasibility through to close-out, ensuring financial objectives are met.
Day to day, you will collaborate with the National Manager – Transactions, National Manager Development, National Manager Construction, Development Managers, Finance, Operations & Care, and Sales & Marketing teams. This exposure provides the opportunity to learn the full lifecycle of complex developments — from acquisition modelling to staged delivery and resident integration.
This is an outstanding career-building role for an analyst who is passionate about numbers, modelling and commercial outcomes, but also eager to grow into broader roles and learn from highly skilled developers. You may come from valuations, property economics or finance, but what matters most is your analytical strength, curiosity and drive to build a long-term career in property development.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Property Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Exceptional financial modelling skills (Estate Master and/or advanced Excel).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to prepare reports for Board and Committee consideration.
- A collaborative mindset, adaptability to changing priorities, and alignment with the organisation’s values of Leadership, Integrity, Respect, Excellence and Teamwork.
This is a unique chance to join a high-performing development team at head office, where decisions are made, strategies are shaped, and career progression opportunities are real. The reason this role has become available is that the person has been promoted internally.
