Are you looking for a varied and exciting role working across a diverse state-wide property portfolio?
The role of Property and Development Analyst will join the Property Investment team. Reporting to the Manager of Property Investment across transactions, property analytics and the front end of projects. Your initial focus will be to assist across health, retirement and aged care development projects, acquisitions and disposals and the front end of projects, meaning your role will be interesting and diverse.
Working within a high performing and collaborative cross functional team, the position holder’s focus will be to assist across development projects, acquisitions, disposals and the front end of projects across UnitingCare Qld’s family of brands. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute directly to the success of our strategic property plan and investment/ development pipeline.
Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Manage property transactions acquisitions and divestments
Assist with feasibility and strategic plans for a wide range of assets (commercial, health, aged care, retirement, etc.)
Undertake property-related research and analysis tasks to enable investment decisions and will ensure that the property assets are strategically managed to optimise performance and manage risk
Contribute to exceptional standards of document control/administration, budget tracking, internal reporting and governance
High analytical component and you will interface with other property functions to drive improved value, reliability, performance, safety and whole-of-life cost efficiency for this extensive portfolio
Cultivate and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels (employees, vendors and supporters)
What makes a difference for us?
Qualifications in a property-related discipline (or alternatively finance) would be highly regarded
Demonstrated experience with and understanding of the processes involved with the property investment, transactions or portfolio management strategies.
Proven commercial/business acumen capable of assessing financial (tangible) and community (intangible) benefits as part of business case or economic assessment.
High level of interpersonal and communication skills
Proven research and analytical skills and experience
Sound financial analysis and benchmarking skills
Microsoft suite experience (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, teams)
A proactive mindset and keen attention to detail
