We are seeking an experienced Formwork Leading Hand to join our commercial construction team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with strong formwork skills and the ability to supervise crews on mid to large-scale projects.

About the Role

Lead and supervise formwork carpenters and labourers on-site

Coordinate daily tasks, ensuring work is completed safely and to schedule

Read and interpret drawings, set out and plan work efficiently

Monitor quality, productivity, and site safety standards

Liaise with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades

Support team development and provide on-the-job training

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter with leadership/leading hand experience

Sound knowledge of commercial formwork systems (Peri, Doka, RMD or similar)

Ability to read plans and manage crews effectively

Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and deadlines

White Card (essential)

Additional tickets/licences (advantageous): Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Forklift
