Hounds Hilton is a dog boarding kennel located 30 minutes south of Geraldton, WA. At Hounds Hilton, we take a lot of pride in treating every dog guest with empathy and respect.

This job is for a highly motivated worker to join our team.

This successful applicant must love dogs, be extremely comfortable and confident working with dogs of all sizes (included giant breeds), and always show empathy and respect towards dogs regardless of dog behaviour and temperament.

Previous animal handling experience is required.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the welfare of dogs including basic handling, health checks, feeding and administering medication.
- Provide basic grooming including bathing, drying and brushing.
- Provide enrichment services such as supervised playtime etc.
- Daily cleaning tasks such as cleaning kennels, yards, office area and grooming station.
- Ability to use tools such as push lawn mower, ride on mower, whipper snipper, blower.
- Customer service and administration duties including reception, processing, bookings, arrivals and departures of pets.

Note: This is a physically demanding role requiring walking long distances, working without supervision, being on your feet for extended periods, physically handling dogs of various sizes and temperament, and operating in indoor and outdoor environments.

Note: We require the applicant to be reliable to work some weekends, public holidays, school holidays and peak seasons including Christmas and Easter periods.
