Job Type: Casual, Morning Shift (6am - 9am)

About Us:K9 Dog Rescue is dedicated to finding forever homes for dogs in need. We're seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Casual Kennel Attendant / Dog Handler. This role is primarily focused on maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kennels along with dog handling responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for dogs

- Assist with daily dog care tasks, including feeding and providing fresh water

- Handling and exercising rescue dogs in kennels

- Uphold the welfare and well-being of dogs in our care

Requirements:

- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods

- Experience with dogs (either personal or professional) is an advantage, but not essential

- Basic knowledge of dog behaviour and body language

- Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule (able to start at 6am)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Shift Details:
