Do you love working with children and helping them learn, play and grow in a safe and fun environment? City of Melville’s LeisureFit is looking for friendly, professional and reliable Creche Attendants to join our team.
You’ll provide professional, safe, and engaging Creche and Kids Club services for children aged 8 weeks – 11 years at LeisureFit Booragoon. Your role will support children’s development, promote safe use of facilities and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Location: LeisureFit Booragoon
Salary: $29.41 – $30.49 per hour + 12% Super (<18 y/o rates apply)
Employment Type: Casual
What You’ll Be Doing
Assist in the development and delivery of Creche and Kids Club services
Actively promote safe use of LeisureFit facilities
Supervise and care for children in a friendly, professional manner
Implement First Aid and CPR within competency
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding Creche and Kids Club matters
Support cross-functional teams and demonstrate behaviours aligned with the City’s values
What We’re Looking For
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Current Working with Children Check
Experience in a Creche or early childhood environment including supervising children aged 8 weeks – 11 years old
Knowledge of child development stages and Occupational Health & Safety standards
Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
