We are currently seeking a highly organised and experienced Finance Officer to join our passionate team in a part time capacity. About the Role:
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate record keeping, compliance, and reporting.
Duties include:
Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations in Xero
Client and contractor invoicing and reconciliation
BAS, IAS and superannuation payments
Payroll processing and contractor payments
Monthly reporting and budget support
Support for system improvements
Compliance with internal financial policies
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a finance, bookkeeping, or accounting role
Accounting degree or CA qualification (or working towards CA/CPA)
Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel
Solid understanding of BAS, IAS, superannuation, and payroll processes
Strong attention to detail, organisational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy in financial reporting
Highly Regarded:
Experience in the aged care, disability or healthcare sectors
Knowledge of Brevity or other care/service management platforms
Experience in developing and automating financial procedures
