We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Project Operations team based in Sydney. This role involves working on technically challenging infrastructure projects, coordinating on-site activities, and ensuring high-quality project execution. Some travel, including interstate, will be required for further projects.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
On-Site Supervision: Coordinate and manage construction activities, including:
Installation of water & wastewater pipelines
Excavation, shoring, and deep sewer construction
Concrete structures, finishing work, and road restoration
Team & Contractor Management: Ensure workforce, subcontractors, and suppliers meet safety, budget, and quality standards.
Project Coordination: Oversee plant, equipment, materials, and procurement to maintain cost control.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to uphold site safety.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients and local communities.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all documentation, reporting, and site inspections align with project requirements.
What You Need:
5+ years as a Site Supervisor in civil construction
Strong experience in water/wastewater pipelines, deep sewers, concrete structures
Preferably microtunnelling experience
Construction Induction (White Card)
Cert IV in Civil Supervision (or willingness to obtain)
Proven leadership & communication skills
Previous experience managing a construction workforce

About Rob Carr
Rob Carr Pty Ltd has completed a number of sewerage, drainage, water, storm water and gas projects for a variety of government authorities and private industry. Our client list of government authorities includes but is not limited to Queensland Urban Utilities, Brisbane City Council, Gold Coast Water and City Council, Link Water, Sydney Water, South East Water, Melbourne Water, Water Corporation WA, Toowoomba City Council and the Northern Territory Government. Our client list of construction industry companies includes Leighton Contractors, Baulderstone, John Holland, Mcconnell Dowell, Thiess, Bovis Lend Lease, Tenix, United Group, Fulton Hogan and associations with several Program Alliances including the SPS Program Alliance, BMP Alliance, Sewerfix and Networks Alliances, Brisbane Airport Link & LAP.

There as a main and pre qualified contractor, Rob Carr Pty Ltd performed a multitude of work as part of the Sewage Infill Program in Western Australia. Until now, Rob Carr Pty Ltd has completed the installation of several hundred kilometers of gravity mains for sewer, storm-water and power. Also pressure mains for water, sewer and gas. Building 10 pump stations and also connecting well over 5000 properties to sewer infrastructure.
