Job Title: Site Supervisor – Insurance Building Industry

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Supervisor to join our team in the insurance building sector. This role involves managing on-site construction and repair works related to home and building insurance claims (including damage from fire, flood, storm, and impact), strata and non-compliant or defective works. You will be responsible for supervising trades, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations for residential and/or commercial insurance repair projects

Coordinate and supervise trades, subcontractors, and suppliers on-site

Ensure work is completed to high standards of quality, safety, and compliance with insurance scopes of work

Monitor project timelines and progress, providing regular updates to internal team and external clients where required

Conduct site inspections and assessments before, during, and after construction works

Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and company policies

Address on-site issues and resolve delays or complications efficiently

Liaise with clients, assessors, and insurance companies to ensure expectations are managed and met

Maintain accurate site records including photos, reports, and variations

Conduct handovers and final inspections to ensure client satisfaction and sign-off

Work collaboratively with team in estimating, scheduling, and planning using our job management platform

Requirements:

Proven experience in a Site Supervisor or similar role within the insurance building or construction industry

Strong knowledge of building practices, codes, and regulations

Ability to interpret scopes of works, technical drawings, and specifications

Excellent time management and organisational skills

Strong leadership and communication skills

High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality

Proficiency with site reporting tools and software (e.g. Prime Ecosystem)

Valid driver’s licence

Relevant trade qualification essential

White Card (Construction Induction)

Desirable Attributes:

Experience with insurance claim processes and dealing with insurance assessors

Conflict resolution and client management skills

Tech-savvy with experience in mobile reporting and site documentation apps

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
