CRUMB is a rebellious yet warm New York/ corner-store style sandwich shop in Western Sydney. We're built on street culture, '90s nostalgia, and deli-style comfort, serving unapologetically big flavours with a gritty energy.

We challenge the café norm by staying fun, diverse and relaxed but always with high standards and a drive to push boundaries in flavour and execution.

We're growing - fast - and we're looking for someone who doesn't just want a job, but wants to build with us. Over time, this role can evolve into Group Executive Chef, as part of our core leadership team, shaping multiple CRUMB kitchens.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, efficiency & quality

Take charge of stock control & ordering

Develop and own staff rosters, lead, mentor, and grow your team

Create and iterate on menu items, specials, seasonal offerings, and innovation

Implement and uphold rigorous standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety, presentation

Collaborate with the ownership group to drive brand development, process improvements & scale

Bring new ideas, energy, and leadership to every shift

What We're Looking For

Previous experience as a Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef, or similar senior kitchen role preferably in a fast-casual environment

Strong leadership skills - you can manage, inspire, and grow a kitchen team

Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and a stickler for standards

A creative mindset — you want to experiment, iterate, and push menu boundaries

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and operational skills

Passion to be part of a growing brand. You want to lead, not just follow

Weekend availability

Must have Australian work rights to be eligible for this position

Full weekend availability required for both Saturdays and Sundays
