We currently have a position available for a motivated and reliable person to join us as a Store Manager in our Good Year Dalby store. Generous remuneration by negotiation and depending on experience. If you have a positive attitude, can solve problems, lead a small team, and are customer focused, then this position is for you. If you are a qualified or highly experienced mechanic, looking to develop your sales and management skills, we can help you achieve your goals.

Your duties will include day to day management of the store: -

Be the face of the business and giving professional front of house service.

Sales of tyres and mechanical services and repairs.

Schedule both tyre and mechanical work to ensure workshop flow and efficiency.

Order tyres and parts from suppliers.

Invoice customers and receipt stock.

Prepare accurate quotes for both mechanical work and tyres.

Train, motivate and mentor other team members and lead by example.

Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met.

Maintain a relationship with our customers and ensure their expectations are exceeded.

Maintain the appearance of the store and surrounds.

Control stock.

Work hands-on in the workshop as required.

Other duties as required.

The successful applicant will: -

Have a current driver’s license.

Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Have extensive mechanical experience.

Have a can-do attitude and be punctual and reliable.

Take pride in your work and in serving our customers.

Employment conditions: -

Permanent position after probation.

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

Overtime where applicable

Statutory holidays, personal leave and superannuation.
