About the Role

We’re on the hunt for a hands-on Workshop Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. You’ll oversee daily operations, mentor a small team, and ensure every vehicle leaves our workshop with top-quality workmanship.

This role is ideal for a qualified automotive mechanic who thrives in a leadership position, loves problem-solving, and isn’t afraid to jump on the tools when needed.

You’ll be leading:
3 Mechanics
1 Tyre Fitter
1 Apprentice

You’ll also work side-by-side with our Office Manager to streamline operations and drive business growth.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Coordinating daily job scheduling & workshop flow

Providing leadership, support & training to the team

Carrying out mechanical & diagnostic work when needed

Assisting with parts ordering, quoting & stock management

Delivering excellent customer service & clear communication

Maintaining safety, quality control & compliance standards

Contributing to business development & workshop improvements

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Automotive Mechanic (Cert III or above)

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Experience in workshop leadership or management

Confident communicator with a customer-first attitude

Reliable, honest, and hands-on leadership style

Organised and proactive mindset

Experience with roadworthy inspections, Modifications, GVM upgrades etc. (desirable but not essential)
