Living Interiors is a high end designer furniture retailer seeking a Showroom Sales Coordinator to join the growing team.
With over 40 years in business, we specialise in importing and selling high end Italian designer furniture to a variety of different clients seeking timeless and luxurious pieces to elevate and complete their spaces and projects. Projects range from private homes and offices, to commercial and residential developments. We understand no project or client is the same, and we offer a personalised and knowledgeable service to each and every client, whether private client or commercial, for whatever project they are working on.
About the role
As Showroom Sales Coordinator, you will be front of house and assist clients with their enquiries in the showroom, via phone and email, and guide them with your product knowledge and expertise to find the perfect pieces to bring their space and vision to life. You will also support the team with office administration including supporting the marketing team with social media. Succeeding in this role requires a balance of versatility and initiative with a cool, calm and collective attitude to keep up with a variety of responsibilities, and above all, a passion for luxury and style!
Customer Service
Liaising with customers in relation to enquiries and status of orders
Answering incoming phone calls
Arranging pick ups and scheduling deliveries with clients
Sales and Administration
Lead generation
Processing sales and customer payments
Tracking store inventory and customers orders
Process improvement, automating and moving admin processes online
Maintaining customer records
Office / showroom maintenance
Assisting with quoting for residential and trade clients
Supporting marketing team with social media
Essential Skills and Experience
This role requires strong communication skills and solid experience in a similar showroom sales position is essential
An interest in the furniture and interior design industry but we welcome applicants with a desire and willingness to develop an abundance of product and brand knowledge
Must be a team player, willing to support the business by taking on a variety of responsibilities
Proven experience implementing positive changes and better admin systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office
A flexible approach with a can-do attitude
Experience of Quickbooks accounting software advantageous
Effective planning and time management
Strong attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of the Italian language would be advantageous
This is a full time role, Monday to Friday with the ability to alternate a week day for a few hours on a Saturday as the showroom requires from time to time.
