About the role:

Duo Tax is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our team in this newly created full-time role to support the execution of the marketing strategy. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be reporting to and working closely with the marketing team and director to implement a number of projects, campaigns and initiatives.

If your creativity flourishes in writing and you have a zeal for digital marketing, this role might be your calling.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns, including social media, email, direct mail and digital marketing.

Assist with the creating and implementation of the social media assets from static posts to reels.

Support the event coordinator in all aspects of events such as trade shows, expos, product launches, and customer events.

Assist in the development of brand strategies, aligning with overall marketing objectives and positioning.

Assist the copywriter in crafting and refining web copy, blog entries, and additional marketing assets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

To be successful, you will have:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related fields.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a marketing position.

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The confidence and willingness to contribute ideas and suggest innovative ways to achieve the same or better outcomes.

Demonstrated understanding of marketing techniques and tools, including email marketing, social media, and digital advertising.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, and experience with marketing automation software are a plus (not necessary as we can train you).
