They partner with landholders, First Nations communities, governments and industry to deliver on-ground, evidence‑based projects in sustainable agriculture, biodiversity, soil & water health, and community engagement. The Role
The Projects Lead oversees the development and delivery of multiple sustainability and natural resource management projects across Southern Queensland. This role is both strategic and operational, with responsibility for people leadership, project compliance, stakeholder engagement, and impact delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of projects ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Coach, mentor and guide a team of committed Project Officers, liaising with external contractors and partner organisations.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, reporting, acquittals and funding compliance.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (landholders, First Nations, government, industry, community).
- Support strategy, program development, and business improvement initiatives in collaboration with senior management.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be a capable and people‑oriented project leader who thrives in purpose‑driven environments. With technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills, you enjoy working with others to achieve significant environmental improvements.
- Tertiary qualification in agriculture, environmental science, business or other related fields.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across landholders, government and community
- Demonstrated project management experience, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Knowledge of sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation, or regenerative land practices
- Passion for community engagement and enabling meaningful environmental change
