Full-time 38-hour week, this role is a great opportunity to develop your professional career in the community services sector.
You will be supported to undertake a Cert IV or Diploma in Community Services or Child, Youth and Family Intervention aiming for completion within 24 months of commencement.

Selection Criteria
You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Current NSW driver’s license and reliable transport to and from office.
Ability to work independently and as a team member demonstrating effective time management and personal organisational skills.
Sound level of literacy and numeracy with demonstrated attention to detail
Sound level of computer literacy; sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
Willingness to complete all training requirements.
More about the Casework Support role
Casework support workers provide supervision for family time and transport services for children and their families.
You may support Caseworkers to ensure case practice is delivered to a high professional standard.
Become familiar with work practice in line with Ngunya Jarjum policies and procedures as well as Office of Children’s Guardian standards, code of practice and compliance with relevant legislation/s.
Work in a manner that promotes sound family and community networks as well as positive interagency relationships.
Appointment to this position will be subject to a National criminal history record check and a NSW Working With Children - Employee clearance.
Two reference checks will be required with one from a recent supervisor.
Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010
Classification - Social and community services employee level 3 – pay point 1, Annual salary $76,376. Plus, superannuation at 12% of ordinary time earnings (OTE).
