About the Role

Edstart is seeking a full-time ICT Business Analyst to lead business analysis initiatives and system improvement projects. This role will involve gathering and documenting requirements, analysing processes, and delivering functional solutions that support business operations and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The ICT Business Analyst will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, and deliver solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and business outcomes.

Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of a new ERP, analysing requirements, coordinating necessary adaptations, and bridging business and IT teams.

Deploy functional solutions, including designing interactive dashboards and system reports using tools such as BigQuery/Looker Studio, ensuring accuracy and integrity of business data.

Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices to recommend improvements and enhance efficiency and profitability.

Use data and process modelling techniques, including SQL, to produce system specifications and develop functional documentation for system developers.

Apply Agile/project management methodologies to develop project plans, assess risks, manage resources, and ensure successful delivery of ICT projects.

Develop user and training documentation, and provide guidance to sales/business teams to ensure effective adoption of data solutions.

Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in ICT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in ICT roles, with demonstrated business analysis expertise.

Must have experience in the payments industry, with demonstrated expertise.

Comprehensive understanding of private education sector operations and regulatory requirements is an essential requirement for this position.

Experience in data analysis and reporting using SQL/BigQuery.

Proficiency in business process modelling and Agile project management methodology.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
