DVNQ is on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Integrated Response Facilitator (Level 5) to join our team in Townsville, QLD!
As an Integrated Response Facilitator, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—driving meaningful change in the fight against domestic and family violence (DFV) across Townsville and surrounding regions. You’ll play a key role within our Prevention Team, championing collaboration, accountability, and innovation across the service system and the wider community.
What will you do?
Lead and coordinate prevention activities that make a difference.
Build strong partnerships and foster networks that drive real solutions.
Identify service gaps and deliver impactful projects and training.
Support and empower action groups and governance teams.
Take your expertise on the road with outreach across the Townsville region.

About you
You’re a connector, a collaborator, and a changemaker—driven by a deep commitment to ending domestic and family violence. You thrive in a team environment, bring people together, and inspire action through your passion and professionalism.
You’ll shine in this role if you:
Hold a tertiary qualification in social work, community development, human services, or a related field (or have at least 5 years’ relevant experience).
Bring hands-on experience and knowledge of the Domestic and Family Violence sector, including current legislation and best practice frameworks.
Are skilled in community development, project management, and engagement—turning ideas into action.
Understand intersectionality and diversity, and know how to build respectful, inclusive relationships across the community.
Love building partnerships, sharing knowledge, and delivering training that empowers others.
Communicate clearly and sensitively, tailoring your approach to suit different audiences.
Are highly organised, adaptable, and resourceful—with a positive, can-do attitude.
Bring emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience to everything you do.
You’ll also need:
Strong tech skills (Microsoft suite and databases).
A current QLD C Class Driver’s License.
A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
National Police Check clearance (we’ll cover the cost).
About the Benefits
This is a Level 5 position under the SCHADS Award, with an hourly rate of $51.00 - $53.31/hr, plus:
