The Role

As a Domestic and Family Violence Response Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing crisis intervention, case management, and support to individuals experiencing or at risk of domestic and family violence. You will:

Deliver trauma-informed support to clients in crisis.

Participate in the on-call roster to provide a 24-hour/ 365 day per year service to the community.

Conduct risk assessments and safety planning.

Provide referrals and advocacy with relevant agencies.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic, coordinated responses.

Contribute to community education and awareness activities where appropriate.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is empathetic, resilient, and committed to social justice. Ideally, you will have:

Demonstrated understanding of domestic and family violence, including the impacts of trauma is desirable but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and NDIS Worker Screening Card (or ability to obtain).

Current driver’s licence.

The ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
