KBT specialise in the efficient movement of import and export containers, providing a vital link between the Port of Melbourne and the Goulburn Valley region. With a strong commitment to reliability, we ensure the safe and timely delivery of containerised freight across key regional locations.

In addition to our transport services, we operate a state of the art distribution center focused on cross docking and 3PL services.

The Opportunity:
KBT is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Fleet Controller to join our dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a long term career in the transport and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities of this role include but not limited to:

Coordinate daily linehaul and side-loader schedules, ensuring deliveries and collections meet client deadlines and maximize fleet efficiency.

Manage import/export bookings and maintain communication with customers; ensure job notes are logged upon booking confirmation.

Oversee local facility operations, ensuring containers are correctly placed, collected, and resourced for weekend/public holiday activity.

Coordinate weekend and after hours resource coverage as required, in collaboration with scheduling and site managers.

Allocate pickups and de-hires, and manage bookings through ContainerChain and 1Stop portals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver documentation: run sheets, mass sheets, fuel sheets, and pre-start checks.

Utilise software programs such as, but not limited to, internal transport management programs, fleet programs along with office 365 programs.
