Position:

With the recent opening up a brand-new container depot, we have an opportunity for a fleet controller in our PM shift with solid experience allocating and managing a team of local drivers to join our Operations team. The successful applicant will need to be flexible, able to travel to work in Laverton Nth and have the passion to work with a team of likeminded and energetic staff.

As part of a busy and progressive transport company, you will be responsible for ensuring that all deliveries for any given day are allocated and completed correctly. You will have a thorough understanding if CoR principles including strong Fatigue Management understanding.

Duties:

>Managing, coordinating and allocating runs for drivers and vehicles

>Booking slots in VBS and Container chain

> Manifesting slots and co ordinating changes when needed

>Ensuring driver runs are efficiently structured

> Liaising with customers

>Assisting Local/Intra & Interstate operations

> Monitoring driver performance and on-time performance

Personal Specification:

>Able to do PM shift (3PM to Midnight)

>Experience in VBS and wharf cartage is a must

>Can Do attitude and motivated to achieve results

>Strong computer literacy

>Efficient time management skills
