About the role and About You

Council is seeking a proactive and skilled Fleet Operations Coordinator to lead the day-to-day management of Council's fleet, plant, and stores operations. In this role, you'll coordinate scheduled maintenance and repairs, ensure vehicles and equipment meet compliance standards, and deliver high-quality customer service to internal clients.

Key responsibilities include supervising workshop and stores staff, administering the AusFleet system, managing purchasing and stock control, and supporting budget planning for fleet and plant renewal. You'll also conduct inspections, oversee safety and compliance processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across systems, service delivery, and operations.

This position offers the opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, leadership experience, and organisational skills in a dynamic environment where your work directly supports essential Council services.
