About the role

Amal's Discount Chemist' is seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team in West Ryde, NSW. As a full-time Dispensary Technician, you will be responsible for assisting our Pharmacists in the efficient and accurate dispensing of medications to our customers. This is a crucial role that plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy and the delivery of high-quality healthcare to the local community.

What you'll be doing

Accurately dispense and label prescription medications under the supervision of our Pharmacists

Maintain detailed records of all dispensed medications and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Assist customers with general pharmacy-related inquiries and provide excellent customer service

Restock and organise the dispensary to ensure a well-functioning workflow

Collaborate with the Pharmacy team to identify and implement process improvements

Undertake other duties as required to support the overall operations of the pharmacy

What we're looking for

Certificate III or IV in Pharmacy (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience as a Dispensary Technician (Not necessary)

Excellent attention to detail and strong numeracy skills to ensure accurate medication dispensing

Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients

Proficient in using pharmacy software and computer systems

A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively

Commitment to continuous learning and a passion for the pharmacy industry

Ability to speak Korean or Chinese will be an advantage
