Pharmacy dispensary technician with dispensary experience in Drummoyne

Our management team heavily invests in developing the best pharmacy support team, comprising pharmacy assistants, dispensary technicians, medication packers, checkers and administrative support staff. We are looking for leaders to expand this team via a new dispensary technician.

We are looking for someone ready to take the next step in their career as a clinical team member on a full time basis in our aged care team. The focus is on finding the right personality fit rather than previous experience, however experience within pharmacy and aged care services is beneficial, specifically using the BESTmed and FRED dispense systems.

Your role will be Monday to Friday 9am-5pm approximately between 3-5 days, and 1 day on the weekend, likely Saturday 10-5, depending on your preference. Training will be provided for the first few weeks until you are competent (usually 2 weeks is sufficient).

Dispensary Technician
In your role as a dispensary technician you will be required to perform the following duties:

Assist with the management of the store adherence to the pharmacy procedures and operating standards

Dispensing medications

Managing patient medication profiles and prescriptions

Checking medication sachets using the scanning, checking and packing machines

Maintain a high level of performance

Skills and Experience Required

Pharmacy dispensary experience

Stock Management experience

Salary offered is $35-40 per hour, plus superannuation plus staff discounts
