Emanate Technology is recruiting for an experienced Release Manager to deliver the implementation of a new timesheet system (HRIS) in the higher education sector. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth release planning, cutover, pilot delivery, and business rollout, working across multiple vendors and stakeholders to deliver a seamless transition.

What you’ll be doing

• Scoping release plans across readiness, cutover, pilot, and business rollout
• Coordinating transition to operations deliverables and support plans
• Documenting rollback, cutover, and deployment checklists
• Leading technical releases through DEV/TEST/PROD environments
• Conducting release meetings with vendors and internal teams
• Preparing deliverables for assurance reviews and CAB approvals
• Driving cross-department coordination for release execution
• Delivering pilot releases and reporting outcomes
• Executing business release activities and hypercare

What you need to bring

• Experience delivering release management in large, complex projects
• Expertise managing cutover, backout, and business continuity planning
• Strength leading multi-stakeholder integration and vendor coordination
• Proficiency managing project schedules, checklists, and governance deliverables
• Ability delivering transition to operations outcomes with accuracy and detail
• Confidence influencing stakeholders through clear communication and leadership
• Skill solving complex problems while working autonomously

• Experience delivering HR-related projects such as payroll, rostering, or timesheets
• Exposure delivering within higher education environments
