We’re looking for a Structural Designer to join a small but growing team delivering residential and commercial projects across Perth. This is a mid-level position suited to someone with structural drafting experience who’s keen to be part of a technically strong and flexible working environment.

About the Role

This is a hybrid role based out of our Mount Pleasant office. You’ll be working directly with the Principal Structural Engineer across a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Typical tasks include:

Structural drafting in AutoCAD

Preparing documentation for single and double-storey luxury homes, renovations, and commercial structures

Occasional site inspections

Coordination with builders and other stakeholders

While this is not an engineering role, if you are a qualified structural engineer, you are encouraged to apply. We welcome applicants who are looking to deepen their experience in practical design and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong background in residential structural drafting

3–5 years of experience in residential and/or commercial structural drafting in WA

Familiarity with the National Construction Code (NCC) and general construction practices in WA

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work independently, manage time, and handle multiple projects

A valid driver’s licence for occasional site visits

About the Team

We are a small, agile team of four currently operating mostly remotely. The office is based in Mount Pleasant, and you’ll report directly to the Principal Engineer. You’ll be supported closely in your role, with flexibility in how you work. The office environment is quiet and focused, best suited to someone who enjoys autonomy and direct mentorship.
