Project Manager - 2 positions / Strategic & Community-Focused Initiatives

Location: Mascot, NSW (on-site)
Contract: ASAP start – 23 December 2025
Rate: $650 + Super per day

Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for meaningful work? This short-term contract offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives focused on truth, healing, and inclusive community engagement, with a strong focus on working respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal stakeholders.
About the Role These positions are responsible for delivering a range of strategic projects that require strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You'll play a key role in embedding cultural safety, co-design, and community voice into all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end planning, implementation, and delivery of multiple projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, schedules, risk registers, and progress reports
• Lead system reviews and identify opportunities for improvement
• Prepare high-quality reports, briefings, and strategic recommendations
• Support governance, evaluation, and reporting activities
• Provide updates and briefing materials for executive stakeholders
• Ensure Aboriginal community engagement and co-design principles are integrated throughout project work
• Align project delivery with government reporting, funding, and compliance requirements

About You

• Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within government or complex policy environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise reports and documentation
• Experience working with or engaging Aboriginal communities and a commitment to culturally safe practices
• Understanding of government operations, funding models, and governance frameworks
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
