Senior Project Officer – Partnerships & Programs

Sydney CBD (Hybrid) | Contract to August 2026 | $625 per day + super
We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join a Partnerships and Programs team on a contract through to 28 August 2026. The role will focus on managing a multi-million-dollar project, working with delivery partners to ensure milestones and outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a high-value project, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes and outcomes.
• Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and prepare reports.
• Analyse information for reporting and prepare briefs and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues on project management practices.
• Support grant management and procurement activities, including use of online systems.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated project management experience on complex projects.
• Government experience is highly regarded
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience preparing written reports, briefs and presentations.
• Ability to mentor and support colleagues.
• Familiarity with grant management processes (experience with SmartyGrants is desirable).
• Professional and collaborative working style.
• Government experience is highly regarded
