Your new role:
In this position, you will deliver high-quality administrative and secretarial support across a variety of work areas within Metro South Health's Maintenance Services, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and smooth operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for the designated work area, managing telephone and reception enquiries.
- Supporting daily documentation, including purchase requisitions, goods receipting, work orders, and data entry.
- Using systems such as S4HANA, MyHR, WHS Monitor, and Microsoft Office Suite for administrative tasks.
- Ensuring health, safety, and compliance for visitors and contractors on site.
- Preparing correspondence, managing mail, and maintaining both manual and electronic filing systems.
- Managing workload autonomously and collaboratively, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining quality service standards.
- Contributing to workplace culture, including diversity, inclusion, and equitable treatment of all staff and patients.
