⚖️ The Opportunity This is a fantastic chance to step into a busy and supportive legal environment with one of our key State Government clients. As a Legal Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of child protection litigation by providing high-quality administrative and case management support.

📝 Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

• 📑 Process court attendance sheets and enter data into the case management system (Visualfiles).
  
  
• 📬 Manage outcome correspondence and distribute updates to relevant parties.
  
  
• 🏛️ Review court orders and coordinate corrections with stakeholders.
  
  
• 📅 Assist with managing shared mailboxes and diarising court events.
  
  
• 🔍 Maintain records management compliance and assist with general admin tasks.
  
  
• ⏱️ Prioritise and manage a high volume of tasks while meeting critical deadlines.
  
  

🌟 About You We’re looking for someone who brings:

• 💻 High-level data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
• 📊 Ability to manage competing priorities and work to strict deadlines.
  
  
• 🤝 Reliability and teamwork – essential in a small, collaborative office.
  
  
• ⚖️ Legal support experience is desirable, but not essential.
  
  

Preferred candidates may include:

• Experienced business support officers with proven admin and data entry skills.
  
  
• Law students seeking hands-on legal environment experience.
  
  
• Recent school leavers with a Certificate IV in Paralegal Studies.
