About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the team at LGI Ltd in our Eagle Farm, Brisbane office.

Are you detail-oriented, highly organised, and looking to join a supportive finance team. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to take ownership of our accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication across the business.

As the Accounts Payable Officer you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounts payable process using Xero and associated software tools, including our job management and invoice processing systems. You’ll work closely with suppliers, operational staff, and the wider finance team to ensure smooth and timely transactional and payment processes.

This is a full-time role, where will provide comprehensive support to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the accounts inbox, supplier accounts, and credit applications

Match invoices in the job costing system and process through to Xero

Process supplier invoices via AutoEntry, matching with purchase orders or coding appropriately

Ensure appropriate approvals are recorded in Xero before supplier payments

Communicate with operational staff to code and allocate costs to sites correctly

Prepare weekly and month-end payment runs, reconciling to supplier statements

Process and reconcile corporate credit card transactions

Provide other assistance and support to the Finance Team

About You

What we're looking for

Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role

Strong knowledge of Xero and invoice automation tools (e.g., AutoEntry)

Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Strong communication skills and a proactive team player mindset
