About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you’ll take ownership of the front-of-house operations during your shift, ensuring smooth service, exceptional customer experiences, and a motivated team.

You’ll work closely with the Head Chef, Supervisors, Floor Staff, and the Operations Team to maintain our high standards across service, cleanliness, team presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead daily front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional customer service and a welcoming environment.

Manage the POS system, including transactions, cash handling, and reporting.

Train, supervise, and support FOH staff in all areas: barista service, table setup/clearing, and customer engagement.

Drive sales through effective team management and upselling strategies.

Assist in creating staff rosters aligned with business needs and award requirements.

Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture.

Oversee dining area cleanliness, visual presentation, and compliance with health and safety standards.

Support staff development through ongoing training and mentoring.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory or managerial role within a high-volume café, restaurant, or patisserie.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to stay composed under pressure and lead by example.

A hands-on approach with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to build team morale and maintain a productive work environment.

Qualifications & Certifications:

RSA Certificate (NSW)

Barista Certification (highly regarded)
