Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated New Graduate Occupational Therapists to join the Occupational Therapy team.
About Northern Health:
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our five main campuses:
Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for two (2) New Graduate Occupational Therapists (one 12 month contract and one 24 month contract) to join the Northern Health Rotational program. The New Graduate Grade 1 Rotational Occupational Therapist is required to provide quality patient centred care in a variety of patient settings. This is achieved through the application of competent clinical skills in assessment, intervention/rehabilitation, and discharge planning with an appropriate level of supervision.
These rotational roles work across our Northern Health campuses including the Northern Hospital, Epping, the Bundoora Centre, and Broadmeadows Hospital. Northern Health has a wide range of rotations across the continuum of care, including Acute, Subacute, Community, Hand Therapy and Paediatrics. Each rotation can vary between 6 and 12 months in duration. Two of the rotations include Saturday or Sunday as a rostered working day (i.e. Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday).
