This is not your average graduate program. If you’re looking for a shiny corporate role with big budgets, big blue chips clients and bigger egos, this isn’t it. At Moshie, we work with real businesses made up mostly of family-run, small to medium enterprises predominantly in horticulture and agriculture where the impact of your work matters.

Who are we?

Moshie Australia is a specialist consulting and industry development business that’s been around since 2012. We work with more than 400 clients in Australia and New Zealand, and we’ve built a strong base in horticulture and agriculture, while also working across broader industries such as transport, member services, trades, manufacturing and more.

We’re known for making a measurable impact and we’re so confident in the value we bring that we back our work with guarantees of an ROI – this sets us apart and fulfills one of our core values of providing value. Whether it’s helping clients reduce costs, lift productivity, or build business or personal resilience, the work we do matters. We are only a small team of less than 10 who punch well above our weight for the impact that we deliver, and we are currently experience phenomenal growth. After a review of our resource requirements we are wanting to train and develop our own resource that can learn the Moshie way and continue to support the sustainable growth of our business.

You can find more about our values here https://moshievalues.my.canva.site

The Role

From day one, you’ll be client-facing. You’ll support our directors — particularly our founder — to coordinate and deliver projects that build capability and improve performance.

In your first year, you’ll focus on learning, supporting, and helping us coordinate internal projects like CRM integration, time tracking, updating key documents, improving business processes, and finding cost-reduction opportunities. By your second year, you’ll be taking those skills out to clients — helping deliver projects that improve their businesses while also contributing to the development of new services and products that we can offer across industries.

There will also be opportunities for travel and to be involved in events, training, and industry activities across Australia.

What You’ll Do

Coordinate diaries, meetings, and follow-ups to help our directors maximise their time including scheduling client delivery throughout the business

Manage and track internal projects like CRM integration, updating core business documents, and refining processes.

Pull together and analyse data to identify cost-saving or efficiency opportunities.

Prepare tenders, client reports, proposals, and presentations for meetings.

Travel with directors to client sites and industry events, handling logistics and support on the ground.

Build strong, genuine relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.

Contribute ideas and insights to improve our services and create new offerings.

What You’ll Get

A comprehensive 2 year graduate program at Moshie Australia

Work from home flexibility – we don’t have an office, but you’ll still need to travel to meet clients.

Constant upskilling and learning opportunities.

Travel opportunities.

A place in the nationally recognised Moshie Lean Leaders© Program.

Mentoring from each of our directors to better connect with clients.

A structured Graduate Program that includes clear milestones and guaranteed pay rises.

Be a pioneer of Moshie’s graduate program – you’ll be the first!

About You

Have completed or about to complete a Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or Commerce with a marketing major (or completed within the last 2 years).

A solid understanding of digital marketing, including ads (Meta, Google, etc.), analytics, and how the pieces integrate.

An analytical mindset — we want you to look at what works, what doesn’t, and why.

Curiosity and initiative — if there’s a course, certification, or tool you think will help, bring it forward.

The ability to connect with people to build real and lasting relationships.

Based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. Regional VIC, NSW and QLD also considered – while we don’t have an office, you need to meet our clients and our team where they are.

Perhaps you’re in a current grad program with a big business and it’s not what you thought it was. Tell us about it!

Salary & benefits

This is a full-time role (40 hours), & your salary is structured to align with our graduate development plan.

Starting salary (first 6 months) - $70k + super

At 6 months - $75k + super (successful completion of probation required)

At 1 year - $80k + super (successful completion of first year of grad program required)

At 2 years - $85k + super (sign off completion of graduate program required)

You will be eligible for generous employee allowances – car, phone allowance, internet and more to cover reasonable costs of performing your role – (approx $6k per year, caps apply)

Eligible for our very generous employee benefits (by submission of invoice) – out of pocket costs for up to 3 sessions with your mental health professional, flexibility to choose your own public holidays (things that are meaningful to you, state based only), suitable development & training paid for and other health and wellbeing benefits (Caps and approval required).

What does life look like after the Grad program?

That’s up to you, and we’ll support you in whatever you chose to do after two years.

Own and drive Moshie’s Marketing & Advertising strategic direction.

Mentor your own Grad – or several of them.

Have a pool of clients that you work with to improve their business and continue to refine your skills and learn new ones.

Support the development of Moshie’s ongoing growth.

Develop an entirely new service offering and strategy for a need you identify (currently a need with our clients we don’t know how to fill).

Take on some further training or mentoring in an area you’re passionate about.

Deliver content or help to improve the Moshie Lean Leaders program as an alumni of the program.

Set a career pathway as a consultant to becoming a partner in our business.

If you’re passionate, strategic and driven we’ll support you to get where you want to go.

How to Apply

Submit a resume and a cover letter no longer than 2 pages. In your cover letter, don’t tell us about your grades (quite frankly, it’ll be the thing we find least interesting about you). We want to know who you are and how you’ll show up in the real world.

Tell us about:

How you’ve applied yourself — in work, projects, or anything you’ve thrown yourself into.

When you’ve failed or been knocked back — and what you learnt from it.

What drives and motivates you — and why you want this role.

·How you connect with people – or what you’ve tried to better connect with different personalities.

How you align with Moshie’s values (read them here https://moshievalues.my.canva.site and tell us what resonates).

If you’re just top of your class with no real-world experience, to be very honest you’ll struggle at Moshie and you’ll struggle in this role. This role is about resilience, curiosity, and connection — not perfection.

If you don’t think you meet all our criteria for this position – we’d love to hear from you anyway and hear your pitch on why you’re a good fit (maybe you don’t have all the skills but you want to learn, maybe you don’t have a degree and you could pitch this a traineeship instead of a graduate place?) . We’re always interested in hearing from interesting people who align with our values and our mission.

Sorry, we are not looking to sponsor any overseas applicants for this role.

No recruiters or referrals will be paid under any circumstances, all applications to be direct.

Apply now with your CV and cover letter or call 0451 283 715 for a confidential discussion about the role.
