We’re looking for a hands-on Sales/Store Manager to lead the daily operations of our flooring store. This is a customer-facing role where you’ll combine sales expertise with operational oversight — managing projects from the first showroom visit through to installation — while ensuring every customer walks away delighted.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales (measuring and quoting), customer service, stock ordering, and booking installations.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.

Maintain a clean, well-presented showroom that promotes a positive customer experience.

Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively, using sound judgement and conflict-resolution skills to achieve positive outcomes.

Make quick, informed decisions to keep jobs on track and services delivered on time.

About You
The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of exercising strong judgement in a fast-paced retail environment. Ideally, you will have:

Experience in the flooring industry.

A proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Flooring product knowledge (carpet, vinyl, laminate, timber, hybrid) to support customer queries.

Ability to measure in-home, interpret and draw plans.

Understanding of flooring installation processes.

Strong organisational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach.

Ability to work flexible hours, including every second Saturday.
