Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Head of Sales to lead and drive the sales performance for Atlantis Liquid Dynamics. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in B2B sales, team management, and a deep understanding of project-based sales cycles within the architecture, design, construction, or related industries. The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, growing, managing and mentoring a sales team, fostering key client relationships, and ultimately, significantly increasing revenue and market share for Atlantis Liquid Dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Leadership:
•Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans for Atlantis Liquid Dynamics to achieve ambitious revenue targets and market growth.
•Identify new market opportunities, client segments, and strategic partnerships to expand the reach of both brands.
•Analyse sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and optimize sales approaches.
•Collaborate closely with the General Manager and marketing team to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives and marketing initiatives.
•Drive a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
2. Sales Operations & Process Improvement:
•Optimise the sales process from lead generation to close, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a seamless client experience.
•Implement and manage CRM systems and sales tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, and generate accurate forecasts.
•Develop and refine sales collateral, presentations, and proposals to effectively communicate the value proposition of Atlantis Liquid Dynamics and our group of companies.
•Ensure compliance with all sales policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
3. Client Relationship Management:
•Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, hydraulic engineers, landscape architects, developers, councils, and other stakeholders.
•Act as a senior point of contact for complex negotiations and strategic accounts.
•Represent Atlantis Liquid Dynamics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and generate leads.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Work closely with the design, engineering, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
•Provide market insights and client feedback to product development and design teams to inform future offerings.
•Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in mechanical or structural engineering
•Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership or management role.
•Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth and achieving sales targets in a project-based sales environment.
•Experience in the architecture, landscape design, construction, public space development, or related industries is highly desirable.
•Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
•Strong understanding of complex sales cycles and relationship-based selling.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
•Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
•Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to travel as required.
