We are looking for a friendly, flexible and team orientated Medical Receptionist to join our team. This role is for a casual position. Hours are Monday and Friday 1pm to 6pm. We require someone who is flexible with working hours and can provide cover when staff are sick or on leave. We require someone who is ideally available at short notice. Only those who meet this requirement will be considered.

Previous experience in general practice is essential.

Your role will include:

• Answering calls in a friendly & professional manner.
• Booking Appointments
• Meeting & greeting patients
• Billing & receipting in all aspects
• Scanning / allocating & attaching incoming mail
• Managing patient enquiries and liaising with doctors & nurse

To be successful in this role you will require but

• Minimum of 6 months in a similar role
• Knowledge of Best Practice is preferred
• Availability to work flexible hours
• Excellent communications skills
• Positive & cheerful attitude
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Attention to detail
