Western Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team in Murdoch.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome patients and manage the waiting room to ensure the smooth running of clinics

Accurate data entry and maintenance of the patient database with strong attention to detail

Manage communications including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling written correspondence

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Ensure the reception area is well-organised and presentable

Selection Criteria

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Competent computer skills (MS Office essential; Genie experience highly regarded)

A strong customer service focus and professional manner

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Previous medical reception or administrative experience is advantageous but not essential

Must hold current Australian working rights

Hours of Work

The successful applicant must be available to work Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:30am–5:00pm), with flexibility to cover leave for other reception staff on Wednesdays and Fridays (half days).
