About the role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Medical Receptionist to join our team at Main Street Medical in Osborne Park, WA. This part-time role will be responsible for managing the front desk and providing exceptional patient support and administrative assistance to our medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow

Handling patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and care

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical files

Assisting with insurance claims and billing processes

Providing general administrative support to the medical team as required

Ensuring the reception area is well-organized and presentable at all times

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting

Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficient in using Best Practice

Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance procedures

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Able to work independently
